The Eckington Epic is a 7-mile trail race that showcases some of North Derbyshire's finest countryside. Taking place on the trails around Eckington and Marsh Lane, just south of Sheffield, the route takes runners on a scenic journey through woodland trails, rolling farmland, and easy bridleways. Enjoy some great views stretching towards the Moss Valley and the edges of the Peak District. The course contains a mix of runnable sections and a few testing climbs that will challenge your legs.
The race is self-guided, adding an extra layer of adventure, and runners will receive written instructions to follow on the day. There are no GPX files to follow, and no marshals on the route. You are responsible for your own safety. You will be timed out at the…
